tenant lockout + formal complaint + Data Protection escalation i cannot log into my business entra account to deal with the lock out.

I need to file a formal complaint regarding Microsoft 365 support and a tenant lockout. I am the sole Global Administrator and cannot sign in due to MFA lockout, and I cannot access support through the portal. I require escalation to the Data Protection team and a formal complaint logged against the handling of this issue.

  • Sole admin locked out due to MFA device loss - No alternate authentication methods - Unable to access admin center or support portal - Repeated inability to reach correct support channel - Business impact (email / operations inaccessible) Requested resolution: - Immediate escalation to Data Protection team - MFA reset and restoration of admin access - Review of support access limitations preventing complaint submission

    Hi Callaw,

As you are the only admin in the tenant and ideally you should have another account as a backup in case the primary account have issues, it is known as breakfix account. However in this instance if you are the only admin of the tenant the only way to recover is to call up global numbers and provide the ownership and identity proof of the tenant that you own it.

    Hope this helps.
