Unable to add a series to occur on the 1st Thursday of every month in new outlook

I saw that it was reported in 2024 that users were not able to add a calendar series for example, "the first thursday of the month". All that is available is "every 4 weeks on Thursday" which would not be the equivalent. Has this been addressed? I am unable to find a work around or the ability to toggle back and forth between the old and new outlook. Thank you!!

    This one should be possible. Select Series, then click the suggested schedule. Change the Repeat selection to "month" and then use the radio button to select "the first Thursday":

    But yeah, if you need more flexibility, classic Outlook is the way to go currently.
