I am uncertain about the situation at hand. I have been attempting to log into my account-which, it seems, no longer exists, something I previously accomplished without any difficulties. Each time I try to access any of the numerous services provided by Microsoft-such as Minecraft, the Microsoft Store, or others-I invariably receive the same message after inputting my personal Gmail address (which is accurate): "Please try entering your Microsoft account again. We do not recognize this account," or "The Microsoft account you entered does not exist." When I attempt to create a new account using my same Gmail address, the following notification appears: "The email address i*******@gmail.com is a recovery method for an existing Microsoft account. If you know your username, please sign in. If not, please recover your username first." Naturally, I felt a sense of relief upon seeing that prompt, so I clicked "recover your username"; the system sends a code, as it is supposed to do. So, what is the issue? I never actually receive that code, despite having checked my Deleted Items (Trash), Junk Email (Spam), and "All Mail" folders. I get the impression that the system is disregarding my attempts to access my account, while simultaneously acting as if the account does not exist. What steps can I take? Am I making an error somewhere? It appears this problem only affects my Gmail account, as the account I am currently using functions perfectly well.

    1. Visit Contact Us - Microsoft Support
    2. Sign in with any working Microsoft account
    3. Type your problem > select any > click Get Help
    4. Scroll down to the bottom and select Contact Support
    5. Choose the closest category for Microsoft account / sign-in
    6. Continue > select the chat option > you should be added to a queue.

    Note: The support contact team only works at certain times, so if the last window shows that it's unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. This way, they can call you and help you. 

    Just to set some realistic expectations for you though, this sounds very much like the account was compromised and altered. If the attacker changed the primary alias or modified key security details, recovery can be very challenging without sufficient original account information.
