I'm used to download pictures and videos from OneDrive (sync with my Samsung Galaxy Gallery pictures) to my computer. Since a month ago, I can only download 1 picture and I can not download more than one picture together

(This error also happens now on WhatsApp for Windows, I can only download one picture)

Thank you for the confirmation. Can you do another test and download something again, but this time you need to turn off your anti-virus program (for testing purposes).

Next, open chrome and go to Settings → Downloads and enable "Ask where to save each file before downloading. Then test the OneDrive download again. (try to download and save it on a different drive- you can use USB too)

I tried now with Google Chrome and get the same message from OneDrive (after long wiaiting) One or more files could not be downloaded. Please try again.

I think the problem can be some update on Windows 11. It seems the OS allow both app or browser to download one file, but as they try to download and save a .zip file, they fail

Now I tried Web.WhatsApp with Google Chrome and IT WORKS (so I can download several pictures and it saved a .zip file)

(so currently the problem is OneDrive on browser and the Windows App of WhatsApp)

    Hi!

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Since the problem started about a month ago and affects both OneDrive and WhatsApp for Windows, this may not be a OneDrive issue alone. It could be related to number of factors such as browser extension, browser itself, permissions, or download settings.

You need to do a quick test to narrow down the search where the issue started. First, If you're downloading from the OneDrive website can you try another browser like Edge if you're using Chrome and try Chrome if you're using Edge vice versa and see if the Download is still limited to one.
