    Hi @adrian bucovsky

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble canceling your Minecraft Education subscription. I completely understand how frustrating it can be when you can't access the admin center and can't find a way to contact someone for help.

Since you're unable to log into the Microsoft 365 admin center, I'd recommend submitting a support request directly through the Minecraft Education support team by following the steps here: How to Get Support – Minecraft Education

(You can go straight to the “Submit a request” step. It saves time and ensures your case is reviewed more thoroughly by the support team.)

When you reach out, make sure to include the details you've already gathered such as screenshots, error messages, or steps you've already tried. The more information you provide, the faster they'll be able to help you resolve it.

Additionally, for questions related to Minecraft Education and education licensing in the future, the Microsoft Education Community may also be a helpful resource, as they specialize in education products and can provide more tailored support.

Thank you again for your understanding. I truly hope your issue is resolved quickly, and I hope this information helps you reach the right support team without further frustration.

Canceling the Minecraft Education subscription depends on how it was purchased and which account manages it.

    1. If the subscription is managed through a Microsoft 365 admin center (school or organization):
      • First determine who the Microsoft 365 admin is for the institution. For schools and universities, this is typically the technical support team or IT department; for small organizations, it is often the owner or IT consultant.
      • Contact that admin and ask them to sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center and cancel or turn off recurring billing for the subscription, following the standard subscription-cancellation steps.
      • If the admin does not know who holds admin rights, they should follow the guidance in “How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin?” to identify the correct person.
    2. If the subscription was bought directly with a personal Microsoft account (not via the school tenant):
      • Sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services with the Microsoft account used to buy the subscription.
      • Locate the subscription under Services.
      • Select Manage, then choose Cancel or turn off recurring billing, and follow the on-screen instructions.
      • If Turn on recurring billing is shown instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire and will not renew.
    3. If the subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, an app store or reseller):
      • Cancellation and refunds must be handled through that third party’s billing support. Microsoft’s guidance for subscriptions purchased through a third party explains that those providers control the billing and cancellation process.
    4. If sign-in to the Microsoft 365 admin center is not possible and no admin can be identified:
      • For an elderly or non-technical user, or where account access is lost, one practical option is to cancel the recurring payment directly with the bank or card issuer so future charges are blocked.
      • For ownership or access issues (for example, the account holder cannot use the account anymore), Microsoft requires going through its formal account/ownership processes; otherwise, support cannot cancel on someone’s behalf.
    5. To speak with Microsoft support about billing or unrecognized charges:
      • Use the web-based Contact Microsoft Support experience. From there, choose the Microsoft 365 & Office category and Manage my subscription, then select chat or request a callback. This is the supported path for billing disputes and refund questions.
