How do I speak to/email someone about my subscription renewal

Hello,

I have received notification that my annual subscription is up for renewal. Can someone please explain why the charges have gone from $109.00 per year to $159.00 per year. This is an increase of 31%!!!! I have not agreed to use AI or Copilot, so what am I paying the extra $50.00 for? I have searched back through all my emails and have not had any notification from Microsoft to advise of this increase. All I received was an email advising that my subscription is up for renewal. The email doesn't even tell you what the subscription renewal amount is. I had to log into Microsoft to find out what it was. I would appreciate it if someone can get back to me with an answer as soon as possible, or arrange a chat session so I can speak to someone.

By the way, I would not have questioned this if I had not read in today's news that the ACCC is suing Microsoft over the Microsoft 365 subscription hikes.

Many thanks

Lindsay

In May, Microsoft announced an increase in the Microsoft 3365 subscription, because they were adding more functionality to Office like Copilot..etc. if you do not need to new functionality in Office, on your Microsoft account online, choose to cancel your subscription, then on the next page, scroll down and you should see the hidden option to get Microsoft 365 Classic for the original price.
