Windows 365 Switch lets users move between their local device and one of their Cloud PCs using multiple desktops with the Windows 11 Task view.
Users can also launch and connect to their Cloud PC directly from the Task view without the need to use https://windows365.microsoft.com or the Windows 365 app.
Requirements
To use Windows 365 Switch, the physical device and Cloud PC must meet the following requirements:
A device running a supported version of Windows 11 Enterprise, Professional or Home.
Windows 365 Cloud PC license. for more information, see Assign licenses.
Set up Windows 365 Switch
Follow these steps to set up your device for Windows 365 Switch.
On your Cloud PC and physical device, in Windows update, turn on Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available. This step makes sure you get the latest updates available for Windows 365 Switch.
Wait a few hours for the complete roll out before trying Windows 365 Switch.
Open the Windows 365 app, choose one Cloud PC, select the ellipses, and then select Add to Task view. Only one Cloud PC can be added to your Task view.
Use Windows 365 Switch
To use Windows 365 Switch, select the Task view in the taskbar and then select Connect to Cloud PC.
To disconnect from a Cloud PC, select the Task view in the taskbar, right-click on the Cloud PC, and then select Disconnect.
