Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hey, I completely get how frustrating it is when your calendar alerts vanish! Usually, this happens because of a default setting. To fix it, open desktop Outlook and go to File > Options > Advanced. Scroll down to the Reminders section, uncheck "Automatically dismiss reminders for past calendar events," and hit OK.
If they still disappear, your reminder cache might just be glitching. You can fix this by closing Outlook, pressing Windows Key + R, typing outlook.exe /cleanreminders, and hitting Enter to safely rebuild your alerts.
