URGENT: Issue with Loop Notes from Previously Scheduled Meeting Invites

Description: We are experiencing an issue with Microsoft Loop notes associated with meeting invites. The problem appears to be isolated to previously scheduled meeting invites.

Current Observations:

  • Issue impacts previously created meeting-invite Loop notes (users receive errors when accessing them)
  • New Loop notes from meetings created starting today (June 4, 2026) forward appear to function correctly
  • Loop Workspaces and chat-created Loop pages are working as expected
  • Attempting to create a Loop note from a previously scheduled meeting invite also results in an error

Impact: Users are unable to access or create Loop notes tied to existing meetings scheduled prior to today, which is affecting meeting collaboration and documentation.

Request: Please investigate and escalate this issue urgently, as it is impacting multiple users.

Since the behavior is impacting multiple users, it appears to require a deeper investigation at the backend level. While I would be happy to assist further, my current scope and resource limitations do not provide access to the internal systems required for this type of troubleshooting.  

    As a next step, I recommend that your IT administrator submit a support ticket through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. When a support ticket is submitted through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, the issue is handled directly by a Microsoft technical support engineer, who has access to internal tools and telemetry not available in community forums or standard troubleshooting workflows.   

    A technical support engineer can run diagnostic checks, analyze logs, and compare your tenant’s behavior against known service baselines. If the investigation indicates a potential product defect, service regression, or configuration anomaly, the engineer may escalate the case to the Microsoft 365 engineering team for further analysis. This escalation path allows the issue to be reviewed by the teams responsible for the service design and implementation, ensuring that any underlying problems are addressed appropriately.
