Trying to import only specific ads from Google

Hello all, hoping someone can help as the AI chatbot wasn't able to answer my question.

After a test, I found that some adverts work well on Google but don't work well on Microsoft Advertising for some reason.

I am trying to import only specific adverts from Google ads, but I cannot find an option for this in the Import screen.

The only part I see around adverts is an option to change the status of campaigns/ad groups/ads - is it something to do with this?

The adverts I want all have a specific label, and I was hoping to just import ads with that label, is that possible, or is there any other way to do this that people know of?

Thanks,

    Hi Robert,

Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform!

At the moment, Microsoft Advertising doesn’t support importing ads based on Google Ads labels. However, you can import only the campaigns (or ad groups) that contain the adverts you want by using the Advanced Import option.

Here are the steps to do this:

    1. Go to Tools → Import → Import from Google Ads in Microsoft Advertising.
    2. Select Advanced Import instead of the quick/default option.
    3. In the import settings, choose “Select specific campaigns and ad groups.”
    4. From there, tick only the campaigns (or ad groups) that include the ads you want to bring over.
    5. Continue through the setup and run the import.

As a workaround, if your ads are grouped by label in Google Ads, you may consider organising them into separate campaigns or ad groups before importing, so you can select them more easily during this step.

If you’d like, I can send you a private message and we can go through this together over the phone.

Thanks again, and I hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
