Trapped in Endless Signin Loop While Trying to Access Microsoft Account

2026-06-04T07:04:44.8866667+00:00

While Trying Access the Settings of My Personal Microsoft Account it traps me in an endless Sign-in Loop where I was unable to get to my Account Security & Privacy Dashboard Page to make Modification to my Personal Microsoft Account. Please help me to login as I've already tried to login from different browsers from Incognito Mode as well, and Cleared the Cache and Cookies and Restarted the system still this issue is persisting rather getting resolved.

Hi Hanuman-Ganesh, since you have already cleared your cache, tried multiple browsers, and used Incognito mode, this endless loop isn't a simple browser glitch. It happens because your account's security handshake is failing behind the scenes—usually due to a conflict with an active "Passwordless" setting or a corrupted multi-factor authentication (MFA) token tied to the Microsoft Authenticator app.

To break out of the loop, try these targeted bypass strategies:

Use the Direct Security Link: Instead of logging into the main dashboard and clicking through to settings, try navigating completely fresh to [account.live.com/proofs/manage](https://account.live.com/proofs/manage). This forces the system to load the advanced security info gate directly.

Force an Alternative Sign-In Method: When you hit the login prompt, look for the option that says "Sign in another way" or "Use a different verification option". Instead of letting the app auto-approve or prompt you, explicitly choose to receive a standard SMS text message or a backup email verification code.

Check for Work/School Interferences: If you use your personal computer or browser for a school or corporate Microsoft 365 account, Windows might be forcing your enterprise security policies onto your personal login. Go to your Windows settings (Settings > Accounts > Access work or school), temporarily disconnect any work or school accounts listed there, and then try logging into your personal dashboard again.
