    Dear @Kathleen Calarie,

Please note that the invoice ID you provided is associated with a business invoice. As this concerns a business-related subscription and billing matter, the cancellation cannot be processed directly by an end user. For security and administrative reasons, only your organization’s IT Administrator or the person with the appropriate admin permissions in your Microsoft 365 tenant can cancel this subscription. To proceed, I kindly recommend reaching out to your IT Admin and asking them to follow the steps below in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center:

Go to Microsoft 365 admin center and sign in with your business account > Billing > Your products > choose a subscription you want to cancel > Cancel Subscription

Since your invoice is a MCA billing account, please note that self-service cancellation is only available within 7 days from the renewal date. After that period, if you still wish to cancel, a billing support ticket will need to be submitted for further assistance. I hope the information shared helps point you in the right direction. Please try the steps above and let me know if they work. If not, we can continue working together to narrow this down.

The first response may not always resolve the issue right away, but with your help and more details, we can work toward a solution.

As a moderator, I do not have the tools to investigate your specific account directly, as this is a support forum between users. To cancel the Microsoft 365 Home (now Microsoft 365 Family/Personal) subscription associated with the account:

    1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services.
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account that was used to purchase the subscription.
    3. Under Services & subscriptions, locate the Microsoft 365 subscription to cancel.
    4. Select Manage next to that subscription.
      • If instead of Manage it shows Turn on recurring billing, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not be charged again; no further action is required.
    5. On the next page, select Cancel or Cancel subscription (it may also appear as Upgrade or Cancel depending on the subscription type).
    6. Scroll through and follow the on-screen instructions to confirm cancellation.

Important effects of cancelling Microsoft 365:

    • After cancellation, storage reverts to the free allowance (5 GB cloud storage including OneDrive and Outlook.com attachments, and 15 GB Outlook.com mailbox storage).
    • If storage used is above the free allowance:
      • Uploading, editing, or syncing new files to OneDrive will not be possible.
      • Sending or receiving email in Outlook.com will not be possible.
      • After a period (6–12 months depending on policy), OneDrive and its files may be deleted.

If the subscription was purchased through a third-party retailer (for example, Amazon, Best Buy, Google Play, or Apple App Store), cancellation and billing must be handled directly with that retailer’s support as described in the referenced articles.
