    Hi MD Wahidul Haque Bhuiyan,

Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide such details the next time you post to protect personal data.

I understand how stressful it must have been to have your email compromised and lose control of your game accounts. It’s good to hear you’ve at least managed to recover access.

Before getting further, I need to note that Microsoft Q&A is just a user-to-user forum, contributors here do not have access to personal account data to bypass or reset username changes. Your best option is to contact official Minecraft Support directly and explain the situation:

    • The account was compromised.
    • You already recovered the account
    • The username was changed by the attacker.

Just to set realistic expectations though: the normal username cooldown policy will likely still be enforced, depending on what they can verify on the account. At this point, the most important thing is making sure the account is fully secured first before worrying about the name change itself:

    1. Visit: https://account.microsoft.com/security
    2. Remove any unknown recovery email/phone/security info
    3. Change your Microsoft account password again
    4. Enable 2FA/Microsoft Authenticator
    5. Review recent sign-in activity.

Minecraft usernames require cooldown period, even if it was done by someone who accessed the account without permission. Still, because this involved unauthorized access, it is worth trying support instead of simply waiting without asking.

A hacked Microsoft/Minecraft account can only be recovered through the official Microsoft account recovery and security process. Forum users and support agents cannot bypass time limits or directly change a Minecraft username.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Secure and recover the Microsoft account
    2. If access is lost or partially lost
      • Submit the Microsoft account recovery form and provide as much accurate information as possible (old passwords, purchase info, etc.). Guidance is here: Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.
      • If the recovery form is rejected and the security info was replaced by the attacker, the account cannot be recovered and Microsoft Support cannot override this.
    3. Minecraft username change limitation
      • The Minecraft profile (Java/Bedrock) is tied to the Microsoft account. If the username was changed while the account was compromised, it is still subject to Mojang/Minecraft’s normal rename cooldown. Microsoft cannot shorten or bypass that time limit.
      • Once the cooldown expires and the Microsoft account is fully secured and accessible, the username can be changed again through the normal Minecraft profile settings.
    4. If the Microsoft account is unrecoverable
      • If the account recovery form fails and the account is deemed unrecoverable, there is no supported way to regain that Minecraft profile through Microsoft channels.
      • For game-specific options (for example, proving purchase or discussing alternatives), contact Minecraft Support using the path provided in the community answer: https://aka.ms/Minecraft-Support/.

In summary: secure or recover the Microsoft account using the official hacked-account and recovery-form flows; then wait for the standard Minecraft rename cooldown before changing the username again. If the Microsoft account cannot be recovered, only Minecraft Support can advise on any remaining options.
