Images are not displayed in emails, newsletters, or signatures in classic Outlook, when the image placed behind the text

I see my outlook has the below version

Also, I still see the images are not appearing properly from the old emails. Kindly check and confirm.

Based on the details provided, images that are placed inside tables and configured with the "Behind Text" text-wrapping option are disappearing after the email is sent. Furthermore, this behavior is also impacting previously sent emails, causing images that were once visible to go missing.

Based on recent technical research, Microsoft is investigating an incident that matches your description. To confirm this, could you tell me if you are using Outlook version 2604 (build 19929.20164)?

To check if your signature is affected by this issue, please follow these diagnostic steps:

1. Open the email in classic Outlook.
2. On the ribbon, select Move > Actions > More Actions > View Source.
3. Search for cid in the email and look for the tags below. <v:imagedata src="cid:image001.png@01DCE6B1. CF669A40 » o :title=" » /> <w :wrap type="topAndBottom"/>

If you have an image like this and it doesn't show up, you're experiencing this problem. The images in the original message must be correct after a fix is released for this issue. Replies or forwards to these messages may be missing from the image permanently, as it was not included.

While Microsoft continues to investigate this issue, you can resolve it immediately by changing the layout of your signature:

Open your signature settings and change the image formatting. Avoid using "Up and Down" text wrapping for your images.
