when i type DOB as 30/08/1955 it wont allow it I am not going to use calendar to scroll to this date! ?

It sounds like when you type 30/08/1955, the system doesn’t accept it, and I completely understand why using the calendar to scroll back that far would be very frustrating.

If I’m understanding your situation correctly, it’s likely that the field is expecting a different date format (often something like MM/DD/YYYY instead of DD/MM/YYYY). Because of that, entering 30/08/1955 may be treated as invalid, even though the date itself is correct.

You could try entering it as 08/30/1955 to see if it accepts the value. This sometimes works when the system is set to a different regional format.
