I can not login to my xbox profile.

This behaviour is very weird to me because I can log in with my other account, while I cannot with this one. I go to my Microsoft account page and click my Xbox profile, then it shows that I cannot view this profile until I log in. So, I do such, and after choosing this account, I get a blank screen (presumably it is doing something), and then I am back to the page that says I cannot view this page. Additionally, when I try to log in to the Minecraft launcher, I get: Error Code: 0x80004005 code: Eroded Badlands.
Some error must've occurred somewhere this week at Microsoft or Xbox, because I had no such issue on Monday.

Before we proceed further, can you please try to sign in to the Microsoft website using incognito or InPrivate tabs first? Please let me know how it goes.

In the meantime, you can try this quick fix to see if it helps.

  • Type "Credentials Manager" in the search bar and press Enter.
  • Go to "Windows credentials"
  • Remove all entries:
    • Contains "Xbl"
    • Contain Mojang.
    • Related to the affected account.
  • Restart your computer.
