Additional team and channel-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for business

Could you share a screenshot of the issue?
Did the process work smoothly but the channel cannot be archived?
Are you the owner of that channel?
What type of channel is experienced the issue (general, standard, private, or shared channels)?
Only the right owners can archive/restore channels: team owners can archive standard, private, and shared channels, while channel owners can archive private and shared channels. Microsoft’s documented path is to archive from the channel menu or from Manage team > Channels, and then verify it appears under Archived. Archive or restore a channel - Microsoft Support
In addition to the issue, there is an ongoing incident currently preventing users from archiving or deleting private Teams channels. Our engineering team is actively investigating this matter and working toward a resolution.
