    Hello @Vivek Kumar

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A. I understand you are having an issue with your deployment.

The error code 715-123420 indicates that Azure Marketplace rejected the request to create your Anthropic Claude model subscription. According to official Azure documentation, this rejection can happen for a few reasons, such as automated risk/fraud checks or subscription eligibility limits.

Because this is a tenant-specific block enforced by the Marketplace, you will need to contact Azure Support directly and provide your subscription ID for further assistance in unblocking and additional assistance to get the deployment unblocked.

    • Source 1: Foundry Models from partners and community - Troubleshooting notes that when "Azure Marketplace rejected the request to create a model subscription... This rejection can happen for multiple reasons. Contact support and include your subscription ID."

    Hello @Vivek Kumar ,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A .Thank you for reaching out to us.

Thank you for sharing the deployment details and the error information.

During the deployment of Anthropic Claude (claude‑sonnet‑4‑6) in Azure AI Foundry (East US 2), the deployment fails with error code 715‑123420. This error confirms that the deployment request successfully reached the service backend but was blocked during internal provisioning or entitlement validation.

The 715‑series error represents a failure during service‑side model provisioning. It is commonly associated with one or more of the following backend conditions:

    • Internal entitlement validation not completing successfully
    • Regional provisioning or capacity constraints
    • Backend deployment orchestration interruptions

If the same error occurs across multiple deployment attempts, it should be considered as a persistent backend dependency rather than a transient issue.

The following prerequisites are required for Claude model deployments and have been reviewed for alignment in this scenario as validation checks-

    1. Subscription eligibility
      1. A supported paid Azure subscription is required
      2. Trial, student, credit‑only, or some CSP subscriptions may not be eligible depending on tenant and region configuration
    2. Region and project alignment Claude models in Azure AI Foundry are currently supported only in:
      • East US 2
      • Sweden Central
      This requires:
      • The Foundry project to be created in a supported region
      • The model deployment to occur in the same region
      • No cross‑region deployment attempts
    3. Permissions and model visibility
      1. Contributor or equivalent role on the target resource group
      2. Anthropic Claude model visible and selectable in the Foundry model catalog
      3. Correct model and version selected during deployment

Once a 715‑series error is encountered consistently:

    • Deleting and recreating the deployment does not unblock provisioning
    • Changing deployment names or retrying after intervals does not succeed
    • Increasing quota or adjusting permissions does not resolve the backend block

At this stage, further self‑service troubleshooting does not change the outcome.

The consistent 715‑123420 error indicates a backend provisioning dependency that requires support intervention. A support ticket needs to be raised to resolve the error. Please find the attached guidance on the same.Once the request is reviewed, further guidance or resolution steps will be provided by the backend team.
