1 - Confirm Edge is set to save passwords
- Open Microsoft Edge and confirm you are signed in to Edge with your Microsoft account
- Go to Settings (...) > Passwords > Microsoft Password Manager
- Make sure Ask to save passwords is turned On
- Go to More settings for further investigation (if needed)
2 - Check Windows Hello requirement
- Open Settings > Accounts > Sign‑in options
- Under Additional settings, ensure “For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign‑in for Microsoft accounts” is turned off
3 - Sign out and sign back in
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Your info
- Select Sign out, restart the device, then sign back in with your account and retry with autofill.
