    Hi Peter Fehler

Thanks for reaching out. To generate embed tokens, you’ll need a Power BI Embedded capacity (A SKU) or Power BI Premium capacity (P or EM SKU) - these are Azure capacities used for embedding Power BI content (such as dashboards or reports) into applications.

Here’s how you can get started:

    1. Purchase a Power BI Embedded capacity in Azure:
      • Go to the Azure Portal.
      • Search for Power BI Embedded → select Create.
      • Choose an A SKU (A1–A6) depending on your performance needs and budget.
      • Assign the capacity to your Azure subscription and resource group.
    2. Assign workspaces to the capacity:
      • In the Power BI Service, go to your workspace → Settings → Premium → Assign the workspace to your new capacity.
    3. Generate embed tokens using the Power BI REST API:
      • Use the Embed Token API to create tokens for embedding dashboards or reports in your application.

If you were referring to a different Azure capacity (for example, for Stream Analytics or Synapse), please share more context - we can guide you to the right setup.

Hope this helps you get started with embedding!
