How do I get rid of, "The information you’re about to submit is not secure" because the only site I ever get that message for is when I try to login to my hotmail email account.

As far as I know, I have the latest version of Edge but I do not know for sure because I could not find "About Edge" (or anything similar) in order to find out which version I have.

    Hi Richard Silver,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum! I understand the frustration to see that warning when you’re simply trying to sign in to your Hotmail account on Edge. Microsoft Edge shows this message when a page tries to send information over an insecure connection (HTTP) instead of a secure one (HTTPS).First and foremost, please make sure you’re signing in at the correct URL:

You can type edge://settings/help in the address bar to check your version and update automatically.

If the links above did not work, please try the steps below to resolve the issue:

    1 - Try InPrivate Mode

    • Press Ctrl + Shift + N and visit the link above. If the warning disappears, the issue may be caused by an extension or cached data.

    2 - Disable Extensions Temporarily

    • Go to Settings → Extensions and turn each of them off, then retry to test.

    3 - Clear Site Data

    • In Edge, go to Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data, select Cookies and cached files, and clear for All time.

I look forward to receiving your updates. Let me know which solution works for you or if your problem persists and you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment". Thanks for your effort.
