Can students view their fluency scores on Reading Coach BEFORE they submit and redo to improve their score before turning it in to me?

I LOVE the reading coach tool available in Microsoft Teams and all of the data that it provides. I would love for my third graders to be able to view this data and have the option to see the data before submitting the assignment to me. However it seems like I need to return the assignment to the students for them to see the scores. If there is an option to skip that step I would love to hear it.

Hi, Heidi. I am an independent advisor, trying to help other users in the Community with my experience in Microsoft products. Please note that I am a user like you and don't work directly for Microsoft.

Yes, you are correct. Students can view their fluency scores on Reading Coach before they submit, and redo to improve their score before giving it to you. However, you can customize the Reading Coach settings; and enable or disable the tools available to students.

According to the article in https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/education-blog/introducing-reading-coach-for-personalized-practice-and-other/ba-p/3223533

"students can view their fluency scores on Reading Coach before they submit their work to the educator. They can also see a small report that shows their feedback, progress, and achievements. Students can use Reading Coach to redo their reading and improve their score before turning it in to the educator."

I hope this helps you. Let me know if this contradicts what you need. I remain helpful in answering any more of your questions.

    Best Regards,

    Femi.
